Reporting to the Director, National Accounts the Specialty Manufacturer Liaison is a client facing role responsible for various functions, including accurate and timely response to manufacturer inquiries. The Specialty Manufacturer Liaison serves as the primary point of contact for professional, concise internal and external communication regarding case status updates, next steps in prescription processing, communication of reimbursement issues, etc.


  • Primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations. Coordinates services with specialty pharmacy operations and Program Manager.
  • Maintains frequent phone contact with pharmacy staff and external client.
  • Provides exceptional, white glove, customer service to internal and external customers; resolves any customer requests in a timely and accurate manner; escalates appropriately.
  • Provides support to ensure efficient referral processing.
  • Independently and effectively resolves complex issues with creativity and innovation.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy/medical insurance processing

Qualifications Experience and Educational Requirements 

Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred

Previous 2+ years of experience in a physician’s office, healthcare setting, and/or insurance background preferred.
