Erdman Anthony, a nationally recognized, award-winning engineering firm known for complex, high-profile engineering projects, is seeking a self-motivated, senior-level engineer with both the technical and interpersonal skills required to successfully obtain, negotiate and deliver projects in the public-sector transportation market. The right person will be responsible for directing complex engineering design tasks, project management and business development to support the growth of the Harrisburg, PA office.


  • 7-15 years of intensive, progressive technical experience in transportation design
  • Candidates shall possess a BS degree in civil engineering
  • Pennsylvania professional engineering license
  • PennDot experience preferred
  • Prior experience in consulting engineering or construction environment
  • Proficient with planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating detailed design phases of engineering projects
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to manage and take responsibility of technical work content produced by co-workers
  • A high degree of client interaction with successful track record of client relationships and client development
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills including proposal and report writing. Confident in presenting information and responding to questions from internal and external audiences
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Positive, energetic, and cooperative attitude with both customers and internal staff
