Candidate will provide project management, and planning or civil engineering design services on multiple projects in support of the firm's aviation or land development practices. Candidate must be able to provide planning or civil engineering design and project management for various types of projects that may include airport and airfield design, roadway and highway design, facility design, stormwater drainage and stormwater management design, and utility design. In addition to planning and design responsibilities, candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple engineering and planning along with managing personnel, budgets, schedules, subconsultants, and all necessary client interaction.
Candidate must have a PE with a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design and a minimum of 5 years project management experience, or a minimum of 10 years of planning experience with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience. Additional requirements include the planning and design of civil engineering projects in New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, or Pennsylvania, and previous experience managing client and public interaction including running project meetings and attending public meetings. Previous experience in building and facility design and project management, design and project management of airfield projects meeting FAA requirements, experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders, and business development is desired. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently. Regular travel in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Region for projects and business development is a required.
