Looking for a professional, clean and courteous HVAC Apprentice who has a solid understanding of the HVAC fundamentals and is willing to learn. Must be career oriented. We are looking for an apprentice who wants to learn and master the trade and work their way up to lead service tech, lead installer, or service manager.
Provides preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Work as a secondary installer when needed with the goal of working up to lead installer and service tech
Every call needs to be treated as a learning opportunity. You are responsible to ask questions and learn from the lead techs
Learn to troubleshoot units that are not working and replace parts that are defective.
Performs related work as assigned.
Check in inventory, take out trash, organize shop, fuel trucks, etc.
Assist in the plumbing and remodeling department when needed
Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.
Must obtain EPA certification (preferably universal)
Must have experience, outside the classroom, working with hand and power tools
Excellent customer communication skills in order to foster business relationships and to explain repairs and replacement options to customers
Reliable in both attendance and punctuality
Neat and organized
Able to work full time schedule and “on-call” nights, weekends, holidays
Current, valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Work until the job is done
Must pass a drug and background check
Must live within Chester County
