The individual will work on a team delivering transportation solutions. Tasks involve the development of horizontal and vertical alignments, typical sections, cross sections, drainage, signing and marking, stormwater management, maintenance of traffic, and erosion and sediment control. This position will also involve preparation of highway construction documents, including plans, specification and cost estimates.
Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation planning and design. EIT is desired. Proficiency using MicroStation is desired. Previous experience with state transportation agencies is preferred. Candidate should also have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently.
