RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update the company cost allocation database in Oracle's PeopleSoft module
  • Assist Field Management in the Project Estimation process
  • Advise and assist Field management as the Corporate Overhead Accounting Department's liaison to the Field.
  • Account reconciliation and analysis
  • Generate monthly ledger reports for account reconciliations
  • Process monthly recurring entries and journal entries, as needed
  • Balance Canadian Payroll entries, as well as Year End Canadian Payroll tax reconciliation
  • Assists external auditors during the year end audit process
  • May assist in special Accounting projects as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of Accounting experience preferred
  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, pivot tables)
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financial, a plus
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage large amounts of information
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines
  • Must be a team player with strong, detail-oriented analytical abilities
