ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be capable of facing and rectifying challenges, use independent judgment, and exercise discretion as needed.
  • Work closely with Zone Director/ Zone Leads to ensure they have a complete understanding of all client projects, up to and including completing field assignments.
  • Supports the Zone in the recruitment, screening and onboarding of new merchandisers.
  • Responsible for tracking progress for new onboards, ensuring they know how to find client directive material, answer questions for Ics, before going into the field.
  • Responsible for being proficient on the Spar app, staying current with updates to the app, and ensuring all new ICs are utilizing the app.
  • Following up with newly obtained ICs to ensure they are meeting client deadlines.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting of new reps while on assignment, via the Virtual Audit.
  • Go into the Field to complete Client Directed assignments as needed.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Grocery, mass, or drug store experience preferred
  • Must be proficient on e-mail, Excel and Word.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Limited travel throughout the US
  • Work from office or home-computer and tablet provided
  • Other duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION:  This position requires minimum education of High School Diploma or equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE:  Minimum of up to 1 year experience preferred.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of computers, including e-mail and word processing abilities. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  This position may or may not have supervisory responsibilities.  Those who manage others are expected to have the ability to lead one or a team of individuals to achieve department goals.
